Cholesterol is a type of fat (lipid) made by the body. Health experts recommend a cholesterol diet low in order to lower or maintain cholesterol levels. Saturated fats are found in meat, poultry, full-fat dairy products and tropical oils. A low cholesterol diet should be low in saturated fats and refined carbs while emphasizing fruits and vegetables.

Saturated fat, such as butter, cheese, and the fat in meat, is solid at room temperature. Saturated fat raises your blood cholesterol level more than anything else in your diet. One key to a low-cholesterol diet is using unsaturated fats instead of saturated fats.

Unsaturated fat actually helps to lower cholesterol levels when it is substituted for saturated fat. Therefore, health professionals recommend that, when you do eat fats, unsaturated fats (polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fats) be substituted for part of the saturated fat whenever possible.

You can eat as much as you want even you are in your diet program. You can eat the low cholesterol foods. A diet like this called the cholesterol diet low. In order to achieve real results in your fat weight loss efforts, perform cardio and strength training exercises at a moderate to high intensity level.  Working at this level establishes a beneficial caloric burn in a short duration of time and to burn body fat weight. 

Two exercising tips for women regarding strength training are:

  1. You won’t get big and bulky by lifting heavier weights, so by all means go heavier with the weight.
  2. Adding muscle helps burn fat.  Lift heavier weights applying the intensity rule.  The time factor is dependent on the intensity of the workout.  If a high intensity workout is performed, a 20 minute minimum cardio routine should be completed. 

Limit the amount of saturated fat you consume each day. Stay away from fried foods when possible. Push some weight. It doesn’t matter if it is free weights, weight machines, or your own body weight but do some form of resistance training. Muscle burns more calories than fat. When you add muscle to your chest, back, arms, and legs you are helping burn fat off your belly.
